Carolyn Davis stands quietly with her husband and son in the corner of the event room at the Jackson Civic Center on Nov. 6, her eyes intently watching the election results.

“I’m rooting for Hawley, all the way. I mean, I feel like it’s time for Missouri to say no to Claire because she has said no to Missouri for too long,” Davis said.

Davis said she is ready for the election to be over.

“There’s so much fighting and bickering going back and forth, I’m ready for that to be done,” she said.
