Justin Baldoni launches a website in his latest move against Blake Lively

In the months after the release of the popular book adaptation It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively have been in a heated back and forth via lawyers, newspapers and online gossip.

The conflict between the two Hollywood stars began when rumors began spreading about a feud during the press tour for the movie, according to Entertainment Weekly. After the movie was released, Lively lodged a formal complaint and later sued Baldoni, citing that he coordinated an online smear campaign and that he sexually harassed her. Eventually, Baldoni filed a countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of taking control of It Ends With Us and launching a smear campaign against him.

In between all of the legal battles, there was a hurricane of online attacks between the two parties.

The latest move involves the launch of a website by Baldoni on Saturday, Feb. 1, called Lawsuit Info, detailing the amended complaint and a timeline of events complete with text screenshots and emails.

The $400 million complaint filed by Baldoni slammed Lively for blaming her ruined reputation on her co-star.

“Lively could not tolerate her publicly tainted image for even a moment, and further could not accept that it was entirely of her own making,” the complaint read. “She needed a scapegoat. And rather than admit and take accountability for her own mishaps, she chose to blame the Wayfarer Parties (which includes Baldoni and others who filed the complaint), in a malicious and unforgivably public manner.”

The Associated Press reports that the court date is set for March 9, 2026, with the judge threatening to move up the trial if the war of words continues between the pair, according to NBC News.

Trump launches trade war on America’s three largest trading partners

President Donald Trump introduced plans to put tariffs on the United States’ three largest trading partners: China, Canada and Mexico.

These tariffs are allowed based on Trump's declaring a national emergency on illegal aliens and drugs. A statement released by the White House holds these three countries accountable for the crisis.

“President Trump is taking bold action to hold Mexico, Canada and China accountable to their promises of halting illegal immigration and stopping poisonous fentanyl and other drugs from flowing into our country,” the statement read.

The Associated Press reports that Trump declared tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico to be waged at 25%, while China would have a 10% tariff on their imports. A number of different products, common to all Americans, would be affected by the tariffs. These items include oil and lumber from Canada, plastics and computer chips from China and clothing and liquor from Mexico.

However, Trump reached a trade deal with Canada and Mexico, postponing the tariffs for another 30 days, according to Time. Both countries took steps to help with the immigration crisis and the flow of illegal drugs.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that she would reinforce her country’s border with the United States by supplying 10,000 National Guard troops. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that he would launch a task force with the United States to fight organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering.

Meanwhile, the trade relations with the Chinese were not quite as friendly. Trump’s planned tariffs went into effect on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Reuters reports that China responded to these tariffs by targeting certain U.S. companies for sanctions and launching target tariffs of their own.

It seems that the tariffs from Trump might not be over, as he has suggested that the European Union might be his next target, but nothing concrete has been announced.
