Presidential Search Committee unanimously selects a candidate to be the new president

The Presidential Search and Advisory Committee (PSAC) has unanimously recommended Dr. Brad Hodson as the university’s 19th president. The recommendation has been forwarded to the Board of Governors for consideration.

Hodson, currently the executive vice president at Missouri Southern State University, has held the position since 2015. Previously, he served as vice president for university advancement at Pittsburg State University.

Hodson has been invited to visit campus on Wednesday, Feb. 12, appearing at two open forums from 9 to 10 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m. Students are allowed and encouraged to attend.

After his visit, the Board of Governors will review the unanimous recommendation and the input from the rest of campus.

The next update on the Presidential Search will be no later than Feb. 27. More updates will be provided as information becomes available.
