Student Government Association met on Monday and reviewed the input they received from students at their #pumpkinprobs forum that was held on Oct. 24.
"It gave us a lot of input as to what the students see as issues so we know where to focus our efforts to improve Southeast for current and future Redhawks," Jami Conley, Student Issues committee chair said.
During her report she said they received a wide variety topics students were concerned about, such as fixing potholes in parking lots, fixing lights around campus for when people are walking around at night and the conditions of residence halls. Senators also gave their input on the issues and will further discuss what actions can be taken to improve Southeast Missouri State University's campus.
During the meeting SGA members also discussed keeping the library open during finals week. They believed it benefited many students and plan to keep it open again this semester during finals week to 3 a.m. each night.
