Southeast Missouri State University featured Norman Ng of The Norman Magic Experience on Saturday as part of the Family Weekend events.
Tyler Rosemann, co-coordinator of special events for the Student Activities Council, said that this was Ng's second appearance at Southeast.
"He came last year and everybody enjoyed the show," Rosemann said. "This year was the same. There was a big crowd; it seemed to be a full house."
All seats were taken in the University Center Ballroom for The Norman Magic Experience, and many students and families were standing in order to watch. Rosemann said that next year they will try to bring in somebody new. If that plan doesn't work, Norman Ng will be asked back.
Ng has been performing magic tricks since he was eight years old. He has performed live for half a million people in his career and was voted "America's Best" by Campus Life Magazine.
Though Ng only performed for an hour in the U.C. Ballroom, he kept everybody laughing and on the edge of their seats.
