Are you and your friends always searching for something fun to do on campus? Well, I've got the perfect activity for you and three other friends. Go play wallyball at the Student Recreation Center-North!

Now I don't know about you, but I've never been a huge fan of going to the gym to play some type of game. I go to the gym to run on a treadmill and maybe do some core workouts. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that my friends introduced me to the game wallyball. At first I was reluctant to play until they explained to me that it was a lot like volleyball. I played volleyball all through junior high and high school and I've missed playing since I came to college, so I agreed to try it out. Once we started playing I had a blast and have wanted to go back every day since. It's the perfect way to relieve some stress and laugh with friends.

Unfortunately, however, there has to be at least four people to play if you want it to be fun, so I've only been able to go back with them one other time. However, I plan on making that a part of my workouts this semester, so if any of those three people are reading this, get ready for it!

I really enjoy getting to spend time with the people that introduced it to me. That being said if you haven't gone and played wallyball you need to! It's a different way to burn calories than just running on the track for an hour plus it's free and you'll get to enjoy time with your friends doing something different.

With all the great activities that Student Activities Council puts on throughout the year, the Late Night Breakfast is definitely one of my all-time favorites. Who doesn't love pancakes and sausage at 10 p.m.? The buffet is stocked full with eggs, biscuits, fruit, cookies and donuts. With a menu like that, the Late Night Breakfast is surely a popular event all over campus. Not only do you get a buffet-style meal full of delicious breakfast foods, there is also a comedian that performs while you eat. It doesn't get much better than this, folks. I love to gather a big group of my sorority sisters to go and enjoy yummy treats and even some laughs along the way.

Usually the Late Night Breakfast comes toward the end of semesters, right before finals, which I think is a great way to take a break from studying and relieve some stress before exams.

The comedian is usually pretty good as well. One year they had an improv group perform during the Late Night Breakfast, and it was amazing. Everything they did was based on the audience and nothing was rehearsed before the show. It was fun and the entire room really enjoyed it.

SAC does a great job bringing in entertainment acts for these events. Kudos to SAC for all of their hard work.

There really isn't anything better than free food and entertainment to help you relax before taking finals. That is why the Late Night Breakfast is No. 1 on my list for favorite event ever at SEMO.

Since moving off campus, I keep the amount of time I spend hiking its hills to a minimum, but the thing that always draws me back are the eating options. More specifically, eating options funded by the swipe of a card holding money I'll pay in the future, which for whatever reason makes it all the more satisfying.

When I made my decision to attend the university, it was solely based on the fact that I'd be able to enjoy Papa John's and Chick-fil-A on a regular basis. Having the option to eat pizza and chicken sandwiches from two of my favorite food chains, though highly unhealthy, is what initially drew me to the campus and continues to do so to this day. Since then, the campus has added both a Starbucks and a Subway, which has definitely added to its appeal. I'm a huge fan of coffee and though I've tried to stay away from Subway since reading about their processed meat and bread made of the same material as yoga mats, they still have the most delicious cookies and their footlongs are only 5$ pretty much every month of year, so I'm there eight days a week -- twice on the days I'm really hungry.

While I obviously enjoy the higher profile dining options, when feeling nostalgic I'm not above pigging out at the Towers buffet amongst the underclassmen. Every now and then the unlimited Blue Mountain Powerade and mediocre but strangely satisfying pizza call my name. The biggest downside to eating at Towers is deciding which cereal to choose. It's often a three way tie between Cocoa Puffs, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms with chocolate milk, which always ends with me getting a bowl of all three.

The food on campus provides a nice change of pace from hot sauce and Ramen noodles without having to spend money currently in my back account, so even though I have to make an extra appearance on campus to purchase it, it's always worth it.
