Shots fire near SEMO campus: No injuries reported, suspects on the loose

Shots were fired near SEMO’s campus Friday evening at the Village on the Green apartments. Six to seven shots were reported, but no one was hurt.

Suspects are still at large, described as two black males, one dressed in an orange shirt and the other in a green shirt. Two witnesses spotted the suspects with the gun.

This marks the third shooting near campus this semester, following a prior shooting at Village on the Green in September.

The campus has notified students, and urges students to report any suspicious activity to DPS.
