A crowd of 3,269 was in attendance to watch the superstars of the WWE perform.

The WWE held its RAW: Road to Wrestlemania event on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau.

"That's what we strive for," RAW managing supervisor Vickie Guerrero said. "To make our fans happy, and give a lot back to the community."

The event opened with a match between superstars Zach Ryder and Corey Graves. Graves said that he was going to bury Ryder but fell short of those claims as Ryder was victorious.

Southeast junior Alicia Glenn said that coming into the event she wasn't very interested in what the show had to offer, but she was drawn in by the atmosphere and became more interested as the night went on.

The next contest originally was intended to be a match between Tensai and Alex Riley until Guerrero came out, much to the disdain of the audience, and changed the match to a dance-off.

As Tensai began his dance to the popular song by the group LMFAO "I'm Sexy and I Know It," Riley attacked him from behind.

"How dare you jump me when I'm getting down," Tensai said of the attack.

This sparked an impromptu match between the two. Tensai emerged victorious and decided to give the fans in attendance a little treat by dancing his way out of the arena.

Kaitlyn, the current Divas champion, successfully defended her title against Tamina Snuka. Team Rhodes Scholars, Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes, lost to WWE legends the New Age Outlaws, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn.

After intermission, Justin Gabriel took on David Otunga. Otunga took his time getting to the ring, stopping at the top of the entrance way to flex and pose, but his pre-match ritual was not enough to overcome Gabriel, who was the victor.

Chris Jericho faced Dolph Ziggler, who was accompanied to the ring by his managers Big E Langston and A.J. Lee. The fans were able to choose between a two out of three falls or no disqualification match via Twitter. The Show Me Center crowd decided on a no disqualification match. Through numerous interferences from Lee and Langston, Jericho was able to pick up the win, after which he celebrated by having different sections of the audience cheer for him.

The night's main event was a tag-team match featuring former WWE champion CM Punk and United States champion Antonio Cesaro against the team of The Miz and Ryback. Punk and Cesaro immediately got on the crowd's bad side by destroying various signs brought in by the fans. Miz and Ryback won the match. Afterwards, many children rushed to the barricade in hopes of being able to slap hands with one of the two performers.

"After seeing it live, I'm a bit more invested," Glenn said. "I will definitely start paying more attention to it now."
