Textbook Rental at Kent Library is offering students a variety of textbook rental return options for books they rented for the spring semester.

Spring textbooks, originally due on May 18 will now be accepted until June 2 with no penalty.

Options for returning textbooks include curbside drop-off through the textbook rental drop slot, the University Center drop bin and regional campus drop-off.

To return books curbside, students are advised to pull up to the front of the Textbook Rental entrance and open their trunk so staffers can safely remove and return them.

Regional campuses will follow the same process at their respective locations. This option will be offered at regional campuses until June and is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

If students are unable to return books during working hours, they can drop the books into the Textbook Rental drop slot at the main entrance. Staff request students place a note inside the front cover of the book with their name and student ID number.

Similarly, a large red book drop bin will be located on the first floor of the University Center where students can drop off books using the same method. Both will be offered until 4 p.m. on June 2.

To see a record of book returns, visit the Southeast portal, select the Student SS tab, find the Services section, choose Textbook Rental Detail and click Textbook Rental Detail again.
