Dr. Gerald McDougall has been named the interim provost and chief academic officer for Southeast Missouri State University, according to the Southeast News Bureau.
McDougall, dean of the Donald L. Harrison College of Business and associate provost of Extended and Online Learning, will replace Dr. Ronald Rosati, who has accepted the position of dean of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, Neb.
McDougall will serve as the interim provost while a nationwide search for a permanent provost is held. According to the News Bureau, the interim provost will not be a candidate.
Dr. Charles McAllister, interim chair of the Department of Accounting and Associate Professor of Accounting, will serve as the interim dean of the Harrison College of Business.
