SEMO Football took on Tennessee State University in Nashville TN, on Saturday Nov. 23.

The Redhawks lost by a score of 21-28 to the Tigers, with senior quarterback Paxton DeLaurent throwing for two touchdowns and 233 yards, and freshman running back Payton Brown rushing for 45 yards and two total touchdowns.

Despite the loss the Redhawks still clinched both the OVC championship, holding it with three other schools, and a playoff spot in the FCS playoffs.

The Redhawks next game is Saturday Nov. 30 in Cape Girardeau for the first round of FCS playoffs, against #12 ranked Illinois State.
